Anyone can model it. We verify it.

The category is worth more than anyone has yet built for it, and most engines racing into it stop at the same place: a number a computer produced. A modeled number is a good estimate. It was never checked against the real world. That is the ceiling of a model. It is not an insult. It is just the limit. We are further along than a slide deck: a number checked in the water, running under a real sovereign relationship in the Caribbean, with credits in development on a path to issuance. Observed, checked, and being built toward issuance. That is a different thing from a guess, and it is real.

CaveatWhen a number is only an estimate, we call it an estimate. That honesty is the point. It is what makes "verified" mean something, and it is why this holds up when you look. Credits are authorized and in progress, not yet issued, and we say so plainly.
