01 · The position
We come before the auditor, not instead of them.
An auditor checks what a company says about itself. But someone has to go out and actually measure the ocean and its carbon impact first. That is the part we do. We take the reading, cross-check it, sign it, and make it traceable back to where it came from. Then your report reaches the assurance firm already carrying its evidence. The auditor still audits. The number just shows up with its source attached.
02 · The reporting cycle
First we measure it. Then you report it. Then they check it.
Three steps. We own the first one and hand the next two a clean, proven number.
We measure the ocean and its carbon impact
We watch these places from space and in the water, and turn all of it into one signed record. Every record is cross-checked before we trust it. This is live capability, deployed with a major fund administrator and running against a sovereign pilot in the Caribbean.
You file the report
That record drops straight into the forms you already fill out. No new software. No custom paperwork. It arrives ready to file into the systems you already run.
The auditor checks it
The assurance firm reviews the report. Because every number already carries its receipt, they start from evidence instead of an empty box.
PROVENANCE Every claim travels with its source and its confidence | METHOD Ours, built on peer-reviewed blue-carbon science.
03 · Where it fits
It fits the forms you already file.
Big companies report on nature using the same standard forms. Our evidence is written in the language of those forms. You do not learn a new system or invent a new format. The number lands where it belongs, already carrying its source.
| Where it lands | What we hand into it |
|---|---|
| Your climate questionnaire | The place you report your environmental impact. We supply real ocean measurements for its questions, with a source attached to every number. |
| Your nature disclosure | The place you report on wildlife and ecosystems. We fill it with what we actually observed, not a desk estimate. |
| Your nature-and-finance report | Where you report how the business depends on and affects nature. We tie those targets to real ocean assets and how they change over time. |
| Your restoration tracking | Where you show a habitat is being restored. We supply the starting picture and the ongoing tracking it needs. |
04 · Why it matters
The market already knows it is missing this.
The people who finance the ocean will tell you the same thing, plainly. They cannot get consistent, verifiable ocean data. Plenty of measurement exists. Evidence you can stand behind is the scarce part. That gap is exactly what we supply.
From company to government
The path we are built for already exists: a real measurement moving from a company into a government's official record. We hold a live sovereign relationship in the Caribbean, and we feed that path with primary observation, not estimates.
The financiers say the data is missing
The institutions that put money into the ocean say it out loud. They cannot get consistent ocean data they can stand behind. That missing, verifiable data is exactly what we supply. Not another model. A number that carries its own evidence.
05 · The signed object
Every number shows up with its receipt.
Behind each figure is one signed record. It looks the same wherever you see it: on our screen, in your report, in the audit file. The evidence stays glued to the number and travels with it everywhere, so an auditor reviews evidence, not a claim. And this is not a pitch. We have already mapped a Caribbean pilot's seagrass this way, deployed with a major fund administrator.
DISCIPLINE What we measure directly is ours to sign. Everything else is labeled for exactly what it is.
06 · Standing of the method
Read by the people you answer to.
We did not invent our method in a vacuum. It is built on peer-reviewed blue-carbon science, and it has been read by people who set and audit real-world standards. We call advisors advisors and reviewers reviewers. We claim only what we have earned.
People who work on these standards have read our method. We sit at the front of the assurance cycle, feeding it primary observation rather than replacing it. And we hold a live sovereign relationship in the Caribbean. We say only what is true, and what is true is enough.
DISCIPLINE We never dress up a reader as a validator or an advisor as an approver. We claim only what we have earned.
